Terms of Payment


Our normal terms of payment are advance payment, C.O.D. or by Visa or Master Card.

Ordering

Over the telephone (1-403-228-3655) between 09.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. mountain time Monday through Friday. Minimum order value should be CDN$ 250 or US$ 200.00 and a minimum 1 kg of each tea.

Invoicing

Unless the customer specifies otherwise, invoices come with the shipped orders. Wherever
applicable by law, GST or any other provincial or federal tax shall be charged extra.

The Product

The artwork on the packaging and elsewhere may change from time to time. Printing errors/colour
variations may occur in the texts in the company catalogue, packaging, or elsewhere. Details in this catalogue are subject to alteration without notice.

Shipping
Freight is pre-paid for all ground shipping from Rockyview County. All invoices include freight charges.

Damages and Shortages
Damage to goods and shortages should be reported to the carrier.

Special Tea Bags and Products
Keeping in view the production variations, a plus/minus 15% tolerance on the quantity ordered shall be acceptable to the customer.

Insurance
Insurance charges are included in the freight charges appearing in the invoice issued to customer.

Returns
Credit must be requested within seven days of receiving the goods. Authorization by Tea Affair is required for all returns. Unless the fault is on Tea Affair in executing the order, returned merchandise are subject to a 15% charge as restocking fee.

Discounts
Our prices carry volume discounts in the price lists.
 

U.S.A. and Other Overseas orders
All USA orders are dispatched through Fedex or UPS, unless otherwise requested by the customer. All freight and any other charges are included in the invoice, irrespective of the invoice value.

Catalogue
Catalogues issued prior to February 1, 2008, cease to be in force upon the release of this catalogue.

Applicable Law
The contractual relationship for any cross border trade shall be governed by Canadian Law.
